My First Takoyaki in Osaka
【Japanese Food: Takoyaki 🐙】
Takoyaki aka Japanese octopus balls
is a Japanese street food.
It is made of wheat batter with octopus inside.
How it’s made is that you grill in pans with small half-dome compartments
and flip to give them their round shape.
If you have a Takoyaki maker,
you can actually make it at home and it is fun!
But, if you have a chance to go to Osaka,
I need to eat one at the store!
Of course, they are professionals to make Takoyaki,
so it tastes soooo good!
The taste is similar to Okonomiyaki,
which is another Japanese food, FYI.
I actually had my first TAKOYAKI in Osaka🐙💛
I’m Japanese and have Japanese parents and grew up in Japan.
But!! I have a bit different food culture
in my house compared to other Japanese families.
With that being said, I’d never had TAKOYAKI in my life.
It’s winter and it is cold outside.
You can imagine how it makes me smile
when I was eating hot Takoyaki in this cold winter.

タコ入りじゃないたこ焼きは家で作ったことがあって笑
でも、やっぱりプロが作る、本物のたこ焼き器で作る
たこ焼きは家で作るものとは別格だった！！！
ほぼ全種類の味を試したけれども、個人的には
ソースはもちろん、しょうゆが美味しかったなあ🤤
